TJ freediving. He broke a personal record on this trip, diving to 54 feet on one breath of air.
This area is part of the house reef around 5 meters from the pier. Depth is around the same or a little less. Club Noah is home to an amazing multitude of groupers, and you can see a 2-foot specimen in this picture partly hidden by an overhang to the left of an Oriental Sweetlips resting on top of red branching coral.
Pup sharks patrol the shallows around Club Noah, swimming inshore to two feet of water. This picture was taken in around only 15 feet southwest of West Beach.
One of the most exciting things we experienced diving or freediving at Club Noah was being able to swim so close to jacks like this meter-long one, and they would pass unbelievably close, within inches, checking you out.
