Coke Challenge. Tried the challenge myself. Did it early in the morning from 6am to 7am. If you didn't know, the challenge was issued by K to his Photography class. And I quote, "the challenge in a nutshell is to find a creative use for a coke bottle and hence photograph it as if it weren't a coke bottle." It was kind of fun. I do believe that K was biased more towards the creation of a scene or the use of the bottle as a prop. I took the challenge primarily from a photographic stand-point.
In my case, the only real answer was going macro. The brand and identity of the bottle are just too damn strong. Pulling out even a bit just yanks the viewers mind and shoves the word "coke" in it. So I tried getting close in order to obliterate the identity of the subject. One creative stroke was filling the bottle with white sand. I guess because the mind expects either an empty bottle or one filled with dark fluid, having it full of white assists in knocking the mind off the track of the Coke identity. With the bottle and the sand essentially full of white, I opted for a dark background--I used the film changing bag.
Last thing to note is that I used the dinky Fuji digital camera I won at the last EB. No film, and instant gratification.
Of course all shots were severely cropped and tweaked in PS.

New page uploaded: FILM DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. I just uploaded a new file on to the site. It's a detailed description of my film development process (as it has evolved for my specific situation). I've included photographs of my setup as well as simulated photos of certain steps that I found difficult to understand without images. Enjoy!
The page can be accessed here as well.

Camera is sold!! Sold the F60d to a member of PH-PHOTO. Php9,500. Not a bad price considering the condition of the camera. What really excites me is that now I can buy an F80s! Called Watson yesterday and was told that it retails for around 24k. Not bad considering it does everything that I need camera to do for now. More importantly, I can use a Php350 manual cable release instead of the electronic affair required for the F70. Aaaah... new toys make me smile. :)
