Monochrome Massif A Resource Site for Philippines-based Photography   [27 May 2003]   Gotta love those chemicals. A slew of updates need to be posted on the site. I've been informed by Jay Javier (darkroom expert extraordinaire) that my Hypo Eliminator formula was bad news. Sorry for the people who took the lead from this site. In my defense, I also got it from someone else's site. In any case, Jay recommends a solution of Sodium Sulfite and Sodium Metabisulfite in water. I'll be posting the actual formula soon. I'll also update the supplier's page to include Alyson's (where I got the chems). The good news is that it doesn't stink as fiercely as the peroxide / ammonia solution I used to use.
