Nikon F80s Review. I've just posted a personal, opinionated and arrogant review of the F80s in comparison to my two other current Nikon AF bodies--the F70D and the F5. It's seems like an apt and relevant comparison. The F70D is the F80's predecessor. The F5 is the pinnacle film body in the Nikon system.

I've put each of them through their paces, read the extensive documentation available for each and have come up with my judgement. Click here to see the verdict..

Google Sitesearch now enabled. Noticed the new search engine form to the left? That's right, Monochrome Massif now features a Google-powered site search engine. While the site's open architecture should make it easy for everyone to find what they're looking for, it never hurts to have a search engine.

Besides the site is foreseen to grow quite rapidly within the next few weeks.

The F5 is back. After two weeks of waiting the F5 is back in my hands. This baby still needs a bit of love and care, but I think I've got lots of happy years up ahead with it. It's really beat up, and the past few weeks of additional use is quite noticable... practically all glass elements are dirty and smudged up. Currently, I'm researching to see how I can clean these up.
