HIDALGO PILGRIMAGE! Sign-up now!! You heard that right. It's time for another pilgrimage to Hidalgo. Read the recently published article on Hidalgo to find out what this is all about. One group will meet up directly at Hidalgo at FANs Digital at 10am this Saturday. The other group will meet up at Shangri-La EDSA Plaza Mall's Starbucks at 9am this Saturday and proceed to merge with the first group at 10AM. The second group will commute en masse using the MRT/LRT route.

If you've never been to Hidalgo, here's your chance to get a guided tour by none other than Bert "Papa Bert" Dimson, veteran of all veterans. To sign-up, please just email the webmaster. The link to his email as at the bottom of this page. Or better yet, sign up to the Philippine Photography Forum. You can sign up via web by going to their site. Or by sending a blank email to ph-photo-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

New Hidalgo article posted. The new article talks about the wonders of the Hidalgo experience and gives practical information about how to get there, what to expect, and how best to experience it for the first time. The article includes photos and a downloadable local area map.

You can view it here.

F5, F80s and F70d Comparison Uploaded. Just uploaded a few updates to the F80s review. I've created a quick-view table listing the critical differences between these three cameras. It's color-coded, too, to denote what is good or bad about a camera relative to its other siblings.

I've also added soundclips! If you've always wanted to hear what an F80s sounds like at its fastest film advance speed, you can check out the links within the article. Just for comparison, I've also added sound clips of my F70d (faster than the F80s) and the F5 (ridiculously fast).

The link is here.

Have fun!
