The Nikon D2H has arrived. Yes, it's another piece of Nikon gear I can't afford. I drool, I dream, and I frustrate. To know more about it, check out these cool links:
It really is a beautiful camera. Check out what local Nikon-fans are saying about this camera at forum.photos.ph! Here's the thread--D2H Official Announcement Thread.

What can I say? I can't wait for the D200... or the D2x. Nikon rocks! (Yes, that's one of the few emotional, biased statements you'll get on this site.)

Hidalgo Pilgrimage: Mission Accomplished. The recently concluded pilgrimage was a blast! Of the 18 people who signed up, 13 showed up, along with three wives, plus another hobbyist that we were able to pick-up along the way. As always, Papa Bert was his usual charming and funny self. This particular pilgrimage was special because of the walking tour of Escolta and Binondo that somehow became part of it. Our Binondo tour guide / navigator was Nathan who did an excellent job of walking us through some of the more scenic spots of Binondo. He also guided us to lunch!

To see what the pilgrimage was like, check out these galleries by some of the participants:
Despite the constant threat and eventual fall of the rain, it was a wonderful experience meeting everyone. Until the next one!!
